CHARLOTTE — Long lines and wait times may be factors to consider next time you’re planning to fly out of Charlotte Douglas Airport.
According to a new report from the Airport Council International, Charlotte Douglas will take the number six spot in the top 10 busiest airports in the world in 2022.
The report also shows the airport handled over half a million arrivals and departures last year alone.
Compared to 2021, Charlotte Douglas’ ranking has only decreased by one; it used to be the 5th busiest airport in the world.
