CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Fire’s electric fire truck is back from the shop and preparing to return to service.
A department spokesperson says the truck is currently running alongside a frontline engine, allowing crews to monitor its performance in real time.
If everything checks out, the electric fire truck is expected to be fully back in service by the end of the week.
