CHERRYVILLE, N.C. — The Cherryville Fire Department responded to a home on Brown Street early Thursday afternoon after someone called 911 and said that they saw smoke and fire coming from a window.
Engine 73 got to the scene and contained the blaze in 10 minutes.
The fire department thanked its automatic aid agencies for assistance.
