• CMPD investigates shooting at South Tryon Street Lowe's

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police investigated a shooting that occurred at about 7 a.m. Sunday in southwest Charlotte.

    Someone shot a man at the Lowe's on South Tryon Street, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

    Crime scene tape was wrapped around the parking lot where the man was shot near the garden center.

    The shooting victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
