CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrested a man in connection to a north Charlotte homicide.
The deadly shooting happened just before 4 p.m. Friday on Statesville Avenue near Alma Court.
Officers arrested J.B. Jones Sunday. They say he shot and killed 27-year-old Luis Fernando Hernandez.
Jones is being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail without bond.
