MOUNT PLEASANT, N.C. — The co-founder of the Mount Pleasant What-A-Burger has died.
Jane Bost died at her home on Friday. She was 96 years old.
Her obituary said she and her husband, Marvin Bost, had a dream to open what is now a Cabarrus County landmark.
The restaurant stated on social media that Jane Bost turned an ordinary restaurant into a place where everyone felt welcome.
