Truck overturns, spills 40,000 gallons of paint at I-85/I-77 interchange

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A truck overturned and spilled gallons of paint Saturday morning on I-77 at the I-85 interchange.

Officials said the truck spilled about 40,000 gallons of paint around 1:30 a.m.

Troopers said the truck driver turned the curve too quickly.

No one was injured in this accident.

The exit is back open, officials said.
