ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Crews in Rowan County are monitoring a fire at Phelps Wood Products on Redmon Road.
Rowan County Emergency Services says a fire rekindled late Monday night due to conditions at the property.
While large flames and smoke may be seen coming from the property, crews say they are overseeing the incident and are focused on protecting surrounding properties.
Officials are asking residents to avoid the area.
