LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty in the murder of a Pennsylvania man whose body was found in Lancaster County.
Authorities said Rico Herbert killed 87-year-old Joseph Devivo in Pennsylvania in February, then drove with his body in the trunk of a car to South Carolina.
Deputies in Lancaster County found the retired teacher’s body near a riverbed off Mount Caramel Road.
