IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said an 84-year-old man and his 10-year-old granddaughter were found safe Wednesday night after they were reported missing.
A missing person report was filed earlier Wednesday with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office for Ted Stokes Sr., of Stony Point, and his granddaughter, Azaria Shariel Stokes. Shortly before 4 p.m., a Silver Alert was issued for the man.
Ted Stokes has mental health issues dealing with memory, according to his family, who also said Azaria Stokes has been diagnosed with autism.
