An electronics recycling facility is planning to add dozens of jobs in an expansion of its Rowan County facility.

Powerhouse Recycling Inc. is planning to invest $4.3 million to expand its Salisbury facility, according to county documents. The expansion is expected to create 56 new, full-time jobs over the next three years. The facility, which is located at 220 Ryan Patrick Drive, is planning to add 100,000 square feet to the back of its existing building.

The company intends to have the building expansion completed and a majority of its new equipment installed by the end of the year. Remaining small-equipment installation is expected to take place in 2021.
