AVERY COUNTY, N.C. — Emergency crews rescued a hurt hiker in Avery County over the weekend.
The Linville-Central Rescue Squad shared pictures of crews carrying the injured hiker out of the Lost Cove Trail on Saturday.
The squad says they helped after receiving a 911 call about the injured hiker.
Crews had to cross water to get the hiker to an ambulance.
