CHARLOTTE — The EpiCentre, once an entertainment hotspot in uptown Charlotte, will be put up for auction in May, according to court documents.
The sale date is set for May 12. The facility will get a new name and new tenants.
A Mecklenburg County Superior Court judge signed off on the foreclosure of the EpiCentre in March, allowing the sale to move forward.
The public auction will be held at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse on May 12 at 10 a.m. The facility will be sold to the highest bidder for cash.
