STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — Stanly Community College students and employees were forced to leave campus immediately on Tuesday after the school received a threat.
Community college officials said in a post that they received an undetermined threat on Facebook. In an abundance of caution, they decided to cancel all activities, including night classes.
School officials said local law enforcement is investigating the incident.
Channel 9 is asking what kind of threat was made through Facebook.
So far no arrests have been made in the case.
