IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A 25-year-old Cornelius man died Friday evening after his motorcycle collided with a car at an intersection in Iredell County.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the crash at around 8:24 p.m. at the intersection of Red Cedar Lane and Sullivan Farm Road.
According to State Troopers, Curtis Warren was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Sullivan Farm Road. A Hyundai passenger car attempted to turn left from Red Cedar Lane onto Sullivan Farm Road and struck the motorcycle. Warren died at the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai passenger car, Addison Oxendine, 18, of Statesville, was not injured in the collision.
The collision remains under investigation, and so far no charges have been filed.
