FORT MILL, S.C. — South Carolina investigators determined officers used justified force when they shot and killed a man at a Fort Mill apartment complex.
In June, officers were trying to serve a warrant on Yves Venne at the Sycamore Apartments along Springfield Parkway.
Investigators said Venne approached officers with a tire iron. Officers believed it was a shotgun and opened fire.
Venne was accused of downloading inappropriate photos of children.
