Fraternity at NCSU shut down indefinitely after hazing allegations

North Carolina State University

RALEIGH, N.C. — A fraternity at North Carolina State University is now shut down indefinitely after hazing allegations.

Last month, Channel 9 reported on a police investigation at the Sigma Nu fraternity house.

On Friday, NC State revoked the fraternity’s recognition.

Now, the fraternity won’t be considered for reopening for at least four years.

Sigma Nu says it’s fully cooperating with the investigation.
