Great Value Frozen Berries recalled (Walmart)

CHARLOTTE — The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has announced a recall of Great Value-branded frozen berries sold at Walmart in 16 states, including North Carolina.

Walmart is recalling one lot of its Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend, which comes in 10-ounce bags and contains strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries.

The recalled frozen fruit was sold at stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin.

To identify whether you have the recalled frozen berries, you can look for the following information on the packaging:

  • Lot Code: 6040 01-6
  • Best-If-Used-By Date: Feb. 9, 2028

No other Great Value-branded frozen fruits or lots of the Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend are impacted by this recall.
