BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. — Gardner-Webb University confirms Kris McCullough is out as head football coach.
The school previously suspended McCullough, saying he was under investigation.
Channel 9 has asked what that investigation is about.
Special teams coach Pete Bennett is now the interim head coach.
