CHARLOTTE — Some Garinger High School teachers said they are not on board with the construction of rental homes on the school’s property.
CMS is building 138 rentals for educators as part of the At Home with CMS program.
However, teachers want the district to address other issues at the school before building the homes, according to the Charlotte Observer.
The district said it met with teachers before approving the land lease to answer their questions and gather feedback.
