UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Families and friends continue to grieve after two young men died in a car crash while on their way to go hunting early on Jan. 1.

Shadd Little, 21, and Garrison Smith, 19, were killed and four others were injured in the Union County crash.
“He was kind and loving, and he taught us how to love people by the way he showed love,” said Mitzi Little, Shadd’s mother.
