Homebuilder aims for affordable price point with upcoming project

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — M/I Homes Inc. is bringing yet another community to the Charlotte region.

The Ohio-based national homebuilder will build 138 single-family homes at a new project, called Stallings Brook, near Indian Trail. It will be built on a 77-acre site just off Unionville-Indian Trail Road West.

Sales for the neighborhood will begin this summer, with the first homes targeted for delivery by the end of the year. Alan Beulah, vice president of sales and marketing for M/I Homes, said the homes will be part of the homebuilder’s Smart Series, which is focused on affordability. He’s hoping the Monroe Expressway on U.S. Highway 74 can help the success of Stallings Brook.
