CHARLOTTE — Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit are investigating a deadly stabbing in an Uptown residential community Wednesday morning.
CMPD’s Maj. Gene Lim said officers responded to the call in the 1000 block of Sycamore Green Place just before 7 a.m.
When they arrived, they discovered a male victim who had been fatally stabbed.
Several officers were seen in the parking lot of the apartment complex near West Trade Street. It was blocked off with crime scene tape as officers collected evidence.
Channel 9 is asking for more information about the victim and if there’s any danger to the public.
