CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide in west Charlotte.
On Sunday, officers responded to a call in the 8100 block of Paw Club Drive shortly after 6:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a person with multiple gunshot wounds.
The Charlotte Fire Department pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
A preliminary investigation indicates all parties are known and that officers are not currently looking for any additional suspects.
