CHARLOTTE — LendingTree has found a home on the Charlotte Hornets’ jerseys. Team executives said Thursday the NBA franchise has reached a three-year extension to keep the locally based online lending marketplace company as its jersey advertiser.

An industry source estimated the agreement includes a 10% increase for the team from the jersey patch and related advertising LendingTree does with the team and at Spectrum Center. Fred Whitfield, Hornets president, declined to disclose specific figures but said Charlotte’s jersey ad revenue is in line with NBA teams in similar-sized cities.
