CHARLOTTE — Hornets Sports and Entertainment has partnered with financial technology provider Payactiv to offer Earned Wage Access and financial wellness tools to its employees.
The arrangement comes from a nationwide agreement with Oak View Group.
Through Payactiv, employees can access wages they have already earned ahead of standard pay schedules, including options with no fees. The service also provides tools to help workers manage daily budgets, cover unplanned expenses, and plan for long-term financial goals.
In addition to wage access, the collaboration includes initiatives focused on front-line event staff. Hornets Sports and Entertainment and Payactiv plan to recognize employees through in-game features, annual staff appreciation events, and digital, social, and in-arena content highlighting event operations personnel.
