Hornets' Walker chosen as replacement in NBA All-Star Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Hornets Kemba Walker is headed to the NBA All-Star Game after all.

The point guard was chosen as a replacement for injured New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingas, who tore his ACL earlier this week.

Walker, who played in last year's all-star game, is averaging better than 22 points per game this season.

The NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, Feb. 18 in Los Angeles.
