Huffington Post writer has new list after upsetting Charlotteans

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — (Reader warning: Vulgar language)

Huffington Post writer Carly Ledbetter wrote a story last month listing 15 reasons Charlotte is a weird city including "the streets are empty" and "no one is actually from Charlotte."

There was a social media backlash and now Ledbetter put together another list and you can find that story here.

Her new list on how to upset an entire city includes:

1. You write a seemingly harmless post about your former city's quirks
2. Including a few controversial statements...
3. Start to get a little Twitter attention...
4. ... then a little TV attention...
5. Complete with an interview on the (ridiculous) local news...
6. Then you become a verb...
7. And get mimicked (poorly)...
8. People will try to disprove your post...
9. While others give up and just write about you...
10. You get trolled so hard on social media...
11. And occasionally things get a little bit odd..
12. But you'll learn to put the hater shades on
13. And give exactly zero f*cks....(*You're)
14. Because ultimately, Charlotte, you know you're wonderful...
15. But DEFINITELY still the weirdest.
