ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — A 66-year-old inmate serving a life sentence for a second-degree murder conviction in Mecklenburg County died unexpectedly Thursday morning.
Danny A. White was an inmate at Brown Creek Correctional Institution.
He was pronounced deceased by EMS, according to the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction.
An investigation into White’s cause of death is ongoing.
