Insurance fraud charges filed against two Charlotte brokers

CHARLOTTE — Two Charlotte brokers are accused of filing fraudulent life insurance applications and claims to steal money.

Johnnisha Albert and Regina King have been charged with insurance fraud.

According to the Charlotte Observer, both women are accused of earning commissions from fake applications and claims.

The North Carolina Insurance Commission said crimes such as these drive up insurance rates for everyone.
