Iredell County deputies looking for woman who went missing after heading to Gastonia

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Iredell County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a missing woman who could be in Gastonia.

Deputies said Niecy Rose Moore was last seen in Mooresville on March 14, in the area of Shinnville Road. The road intersects Highway 21 near its intersection with Highway 115.

Authorities said Moore could potentially be in the Gastonia area with someone who they said is an “unknown man.”

Deputies said Moore took an Uber to 1403 East Franklin Boulevard on March 14. The address is directly next to a shopping center. This was her last known location, deputies said.

Moore reportedly has schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, deputies said.
