KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Kannapolis Police named its new Police Chief.
Chris Hill has been promoted to the position, following Kannapolis Police Chief Terry Spry’s retirement on Sept. 29.
Hill has been a part of the department since 2009.
According to a Kannapolis Fire and Police Facebook post, Chris brings 17 years of experience and a proven commitment to the Kannapolis community to his new role.
The department has been recognized for having one of the lowest crime rates in North Carolina.
