CHARLOTTE — More than 200 Queen City families have food in their pantries thanks to a partnership between King’s Church, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Lowe’s.
The event was held on Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Charlotte’s Northlake Lowe’s parking lot.
The group says their mission is to make sure no one in the city goes to bed hungry.
In total, the organization handed out 250 boxes of food to local families in need.
