CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Knights announced Wednesday morning that they have been awarded the 2016 AAA All-Star Game.
The team said it's honored to be the host city and that they're excited to showcase BB&T Ballpark, which opened last year.
Channel 9 is talking more with the team about the honor and what it means for Charlotte, starting at 5 p.m.
