CHARLOTTE — A fire in northwest Charlotte started with a lawnmower, firefighters said.
The blaze broke out in a detached barn along Oakdale Road just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Officials said it took 30 firefighters 20 minutes to control the fire.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
The Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force determined the fire was accidental.
It caused an estimated $50,000 in damages.
