CHARLOTTE — Five years ago, 704 Shop co-founder Christopher Moxley began talking to the Charlotte Hornets about collaborating on a specialty line of caps and T-shirts. Today, after many starts and stops, that vision becomes reality with a five-piece apparel collection designed by the streetwear brand and the NBA franchise.
“It never kind of panned out — until now,” Moxley said.
He credits an introduction to Shelly Cayette-Weston, the Hornets’ president of business operations, by then-Hornets chief marketing officer Seth Bennett for helping 704 Shop land a deal.
