Local builder adding homes in Fort Mill development’s next phase

FORT MILL, S.C. — Clear Springs Development Co. has picked a homebuilder for the second phase of Springfield Town Center in Fort Mill.

On Tuesday, local homebuilder Saussy Burbank announced it would build 50 new single-family homes at the mixed-use development. Construction on the homes, which Saussy Burbank is naming Cottages at Springfield Town Center, is expected to begin in 2022. Clear Springs is including the homes in the second phase along with 120,000 square feet of new commercial space.
