A Charlotte-based commercial real estate firm is proposing another project in the region.

MPV Properties is planning a mixed-use project in Cornelius that calls for the development of a five-story building on a 2-acre site, according to town documents. The building would include up to 75 apartments and 6,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

The documents show the commercial space could be used for retail, restaurant, commercial and office uses.
