CONOVER, N.C. — Deputies with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office are on the scene of a shooting along Noah Path in Conover.
They told Channel 9’s Dave Faherty that a 21-year-old man had been airlifted to the hospital after being shot in the abdomen.
First responders got the call about the shooting around 2:15 p.m.
Channel 9 has learned one person is being questioned in connection to the shooting.
According to investigators, the victim is in critical but stable condition.
