CHARLOTTE — Mecklenburg County commissioners are weighing whether to take a stance on data centers.
County staff gave leaders a presentation on Monday night.
They said there are currently 18 data centers across the county, and any action commissioners take would be limited to unincorporated land.
Commissioners said they want to learn more and to hold public meetings about the issue, potentially.
