CHARLOTTE — Cameras are rolling on the latest film project to land in Charlotte — “Blue Ridge,” a series that expands the storyline of a 2020 movie by the same name.
Imagicomm Entertainment is behind the project, described as a crime drama with a modern-Western hero and set in the mountains of North Carolina. The film stars Johnathon Schaech as former Green Beret Justin Wise, who becomes sheriff in a community threatened by corruption and violence. Much of the original cast has rejoined, a representative for Imagicomm tells CBJ.
Production is expected to continue into May.
