CHARLOTTE — A person has died following a shooting in east Charlotte on Thursday evening.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 3100 block of Milton Road.
According to MEDIC, the victim died at the scene.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the incident as a homicide.
