CHARLOTTE — This military veteran has found his sense of purpose in the kitchen. Now, chef Darius Johnson will open Sage & Citrus — his first brick-and-mortar concept — at Camp North End on April 4.
The wellness-focused, fast-casual venture joins the Keswick food stalls in the heart of that 76-acre mixed-use project.
Johnson first announced plans for Sage & Citrus last fall. He’s since taken a step back to refine his vision.
“The development of Sage & Citrus has been a process — one that pushed me to slow down and really get it right,” he says.
