Missing 3-year-old taken from father’s home found safe, Catawba County sheriff says

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office said it located a missing three-year-old girl believed to be in danger.

“Thanks to everyone for their concerns and for providing information which helped us locate Ryleigh,” the sheriff’s office posted on Facebook.

Ryleigh Elizabeth Gentry was taken from her father’s home Thursday around Buffalo Shoals Road in Maiden without his knowledge or consent, the sheriff stated in a Facebook post.

Ryleigh may be in the company of her mother, Amanda McCall.
