MONROE, N.C. — After nearly 12 years on the job, Monroe’s city attorney is retiring.
Channel 9’s news partners at the Enquirer Journal say Terry Sholar sent the council a resignation letter on Friday afternoon.
Sholar’s last day will be Dec. 1.
