IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A Mooresville woman is accused of embezzling more than $45,000 from her employer.
Tammy Tarini was charged with embezzlement after deputies said she took the money and forged the business owner’s name on a bonus check.
Deputies said Tarini also forged the owner’s name and a notary’s name and stamp on an income verification letter for a home loan.
Tarini turned herself in with $5,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 7.
