More exotic snakes getting released in Charlotte, officials say

Officials say more people are releasing exotic snakes around Charlotte.

Carolina Waterfowl Rescue has picked up four in recent days.

Officials caught a snake Wednesday at an apartment complex, and another was found in west Charlotte earlier this week.

Officials worry more people are releasing pets into the wild that can't live in this climate.

Officials said one snake has already died and others are waiting to be rescued.
