CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies with the Chester County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Saturday night following a motorcycle pursuit in the West Chester community. Russell Glenn Smith was taken into custody after authorities discovered approximately 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine hidden in his boot.
The incident began while deputies were conducting an investigation on Pinckney Road. When they attempted to perform a traffic stop, Smith failed to stop the motorcycle and led deputies on a chase through the West Chester area, the sheriff said.
