Multiple fights at North Meck HS lead to several arrests, suspensions, CMS says

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg School officials said multiple fights at North Mecklenburg High School led to several arrests and suspensions Wednesday.

According to the Huntersville Police Department, 10 to 15 students were involved in a physical altercation.

Police said no one was seriously hurt, however MEDIC said three people had non-life-threatening injuries.

CMS said school police officers, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and Huntersville police stayed at the school through dismissal.

Police said they do not know what lead up to the fight, however the students involved will be disciplined through the school.

Charges may be pending for the students who were involved in this incident, according to police.
