NORTH CAROLINA — North Carolina’s private school voucher program will be under review in a state audit.
According to our partners at the Charlotte Observer, the state auditor plans to look into the Opportunity Scholarship Program by the fall.
The program provides taxpayer funding to help more than 100,000 students go to private schools.
Since being open to all families in the 2024 school year, the number of students and funding has grown.
